Imbolc Breathwork Journey, Ciorcal na mBan

Ciorcal na mBan translates to women’s circle.  Magic happens when women come together with open hearts and clear intentions.  According to the Celtic wheel of the year, Imbolc is one of the cross quarter days, about half way between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox, marking the coming of spring.  The word "imbolc" means "in the belly of the Mother," because the seeds of spring are beginning to stir in the belly of Mother Earth.

Imbolc is also associated with Brigid who is a Celtic goddess of many things, including fertility: helping to bring things from the unseen realms into physical realm - babies, animals, poetry, crafts.  This is a great time to get clear about what creations we’re looking to birth to life this year and plant metaphorical seeds in the soil to sprout with the coming of spring.  Brigid is deeply connected with fire - the home, the hearth. Connecting with her brings us back to the warm & loving space within us, helping us tend to the inner flame of our hearts. We will have a fully female space to connect and tune into our bodies, the goddess within us, and rhythm of the earth.

This practice is great for anyone who wants to:

  • feel lighter & energized, release what’s been weighing you down

  • relax into your body, feel fully present and at peace within yourself

  • come into clarity, decrease outward distractions

When: Feb 1, 11:00-12:30pm EST, 4:00-5:30pm IRE. Option to join live or watch later. Recording will be sent to all who register, available to access through 2/22.

What: We will have set intentions and plant seeds for the upcoming year and then breathe life into them. There will be time for us to connect, reflect and then engage in a transformational breathwork practice.

For the breathwork, we engage in a rhythmic breathing pattern to deeply relax and drop from the mind to the body where we deeply relax to feel, release stagnant energy and heal. You can learn more about breathwork here.
