Lughnasadh + Lion’s Gate Breathwork Journey
Lughnasadh in the Celtic wheel of the year marks the halfway point between Summer Solstice and Autumn Equinox. Typically celebrated on August 1st, Lughnasadh marks a moment of harvest, the land offering an abundance of nourishment to us. The invitation is to look around at all the bounty in our lives, to really receive it and enjoy it and practice gratitude for it. When we are in a state of gratitude & joy we attract in more blessings: more love, more vitality, more wealth. The breathwork practice helps us to experience this open-hearted joy and abundance and anchor in this frequency into our bodies.
This class falls on 8/8 which is Lion’s Gate Portal, an auspicious time for connecting with abundance, good fortune & expansive opportunities. Right in the middle of Leo season, we really have an opportunity to break free from old patterns that prevent us from stepping into our fullness and creative expression.
We will have set intentions and breathe life into them. For the breathwork, we engage in a rhythmic breathing pattern to deeply relax and drop from the mind to the body where we deeply relax to feel, release stagnant energy and heal. You can learn more about breathwork here.
This practice is great for anyone who wants to:
face thing thing you’ve been avoiding
feel lighter & energized, release what’s been weighing you down
unlock greater flow of creativity
attune with the energy of boldness, wealth & good fortune
